High-Precision Integrated Cutting Line Project for Assembly Parts at Jiangnan Shipyard
Jiangnan Shipyard, formerly known as the Jiangnan Machinery Manufacturing Bureau, was founded in 1865 during the fourth year of the Tongzhi reign in the Qing Dynasty. In the early 1950s, it was renamed Jiangnan Shipyard, and in 1998, it was restructured into a corporate enterprise. In June 2008, due to the construction of the World Expo and its own development needs, Jiangnan Shipyard was entirely relocated from the banks of the Huangpu River to Changxing Island. As “China’s First Shipyard,” Jiangnan Shipyard has witnessed a century and a half of history, standing strong through the ages and maintaining long-term prosperity. It has created hundreds of national firsts and is hailed as the birthplace of China’s national and military industries, the cradle of industrial workers, the ignition point of the early revolutionary efforts of the Communist Party of China, and a pioneer of reform and opening-up. To promote intelligent transformation and upgrading, Jiangnan Shipyard is shifting from tactical to strategic planning, and from producing “fine products” to creating “classic products.” It aims to drive technological innovation and build a technology-driven manufacturing enterprise.
