In line with the deployment requirements of the provincial and municipal conferences on advancing new industrialization, and to guide enterprises in accelerating innovation through digital and intelligent (D&I) technologies, thereby fostering new quality productive forces and empowering high-quality development, Huagong Cyber and the Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology jointly held an event on June 27 entitled “Empowering High-Quality Development of Enterprises through D&I Technologies.” Multiple digital solution providers shared successful cases and solutions for digital transformation in enterprise production and manufacturing, offering new ideas for innovation-driven development through D&I technologies.

Mr. Yang Xiao, Chairman of Wuhan Huagong Cyber Data System Co., Ltd., and Mr. Zhang Biao, Level-1 Investigator of the Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, delivered warm opening speeches. They emphasized the significance of digital and intelligent transformation in enterprise development and urban economic growth, and encouraged all participants to keep pace with the times and work together to promote deeper D&I transformation.

Mr. Hu Lie, Secretary-General of the Wuhan Enterprise Informatization Promotion Association, gave a detailed interpretation of Wuhan’s policies on intelligent upgrades and digital transformation. He noted that this is a crucial period for the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Wuhan, with a focus on “specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative” enterprises, supported by technology-driven and manufacturing-oriented firms. Digital technologies are expected to enhance market competitiveness and promote deep integration of the digital and real economies.

Representatives from Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Bus Manufacturing Co., Ltd. shared their practical experiences in digital and intelligent transformation. From production line upgrades to digitalized management systems, they demonstrated the benefits and breakthroughs brought by D&I transformation through real-world cases.

Mr. Xie Yuan, Assistant General Manager of Huagong Cyber, introduced the company’s D&I transformation solutions and success stories for production and R&D processes. These cases provided valuable insights for enterprises undergoing D&I transformation and offered a clear implementation path for more SMEs seeking to engage in digital innovation.

At the end of the event, participants visited the Huagong Tech exhibition hall and factory production line. There, they witnessed firsthand the outcomes and capabilities of Huagong Tech’s D&I transformation and experienced the remarkable changes it has brought to enterprise operations. The on-site visit and exchanges deepened participants’ understanding of the necessity and value of digital and intelligent transformation.
