Project Background

With the rapid development of business, the company urgently needs to introduce a variety of information systems to support digital transformation. Based on the current business development and operational analysis, there is a strong demand for robust systems in contract management, procurement, cost control, capital management, design, workshop production, nesting, logistics, and construction site management to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Construction Content

1) Steel Structure Workshop Management System

Ø Contract Management (Sales Contract Entry / Contract Costing)

Ø Capital Management (Payments / Receipts / Invoicing / Fund Requests / Other Transactions / Invoice & Document Query / Reports)

Ø Planning and Scheduling (Dispatch Plans / Progress Reporting / Plan Queries)

Ø Cost Management (Management Expenses / Contract Assessment / Detailed Contract Reports / Management Expense Reports / Expense Distribution / Internal Cost Comparison)

Ø Design Management (Design Plans / Component Lists / Component Summary)

Ø Procurement Management (Procurement Requests / Contract Reception / Payment Details / Payables)

Ø Production Management (Production Scheduling / Project Procurement Scheduling / Component Progress / Key Process Control / Quality Inspection / Auxiliary Material Management / Work Hours Statistics / Finished Product Warehousing)

Ø Construction Site Management (Construction Subitem Measurement / Construction Progress Control / Construction Logs / Project Department Receipt Management / Progress Monitoring)

Ø Inventory Management (Procurement Inspection / Inbound / Material Usage / Transfer / Inventory Queries / Procurement Details / Procurement Summary)

2) Nesting Software

Ø Steel Plate Management (Supports reserving plates during nesting computation; occupied plates are locked in inventory and others can only use available plates. Unused portions are returned to inventory; consumed materials are deducted; remnants are warehoused.)

Ø Automatic Nesting (Automatically generates nesting tasks based on reserved plates. Supports hybrid auto/manual nesting. Cutting paths can be generated automatically or manually, supporting continuous, common-edge, multi-torch, and anti-deformation cutting. Generates cutting codes and reports, part and remnant labels.)

Ø Remnant Management (Supports cropping of unused plate sections; graphical management of rectangular/irregular remnants; remnant label printing; remnant reuse through remnant library.)

3) On-Site Visualization

Ø Integrated display of welding machine group control.

Ø Display of real-time video from production site.

Ø Display of real-time video from construction site.

Ø Graphical presentation of data from the workshop management system.

4) System Integration

Ø Integration between workshop management system and TEKLA/CAD

Ø Integration between workshop management system and nesting software

Value and Benefits

The project centers on business processes and cost control, helping the company reduce costs and improve efficiency. It standardizes business operations and monitors workflows, provides timely decision-making data by comparing planned vs. actual performance, and enables proactive planning, real-time tracking, and post-event supervision — establishing a modern management benchmark in the steel structure industry for design, manufacturing, and construction.
